Will USA ever stop being a world leader?
Background
With the dollar going down, more import than export, behind in Europe & Asia in technology, and not being a leader in education, are these signs that USA is loosing its leadership or simply that other countries are just joining the club? Or maybe its all just a mirage? Should this be a concern? If you think it will one day be in a different position..how will that change things?

History indicates that every great empire falls sooner or later. I think this is ultimately the fate of the USA, though I don't think it will necessarily be a bad thing. My guess is that there will be an equalization of power going forward, as non-industrialized countries begin to catch up. We're a ways off still though.
