He's a major player for the Red Sox. There's no way they're not going to feel the hurt from this trade in the mid-term.

Sure he was a key player, but he is hurting the entire team, and pissing of the club and fans. I hate how they forget what baseball means to America, sure its a career for them, and one that in no way will ever allow them to work for 30 years..so i can understand going after the cash..but hes just being greedy. Nevertheless, Jason Bay is doing great, he played a great game against the royals the other night. Too bad his hit to the back wall was not a home run!
